Locally raised
One order. Four simple steps.
You should not have to call five farms, decode hanging weight, chase a butcher date, and rent a truck just to buy local meat.
Get matched with a farmTell us whether you want chicken or a quarter, half, or whole beef.
Review the farmer, raising practices, timeline, and complete price.
Select steaks, roasts, ground beef, and preferred package sizes.

Founding farm spots
Beef cattle + poultry producersFarmers: keep farming. We’ll build the demand.
We are recruiting ten Missouri and Illinois producers for the first Farm Buy Direct network. You control your availability, farming practices, and farm price. We coordinate the buying experience around you.
We market available shares, explain bulk buying, and organize customer interest before harvest.
We keep the customer list, share sizes, deposit status, and delivery zone in one clear workflow.
We help collect cut preferences, group dates, and communicate with an appropriately inspected processor.
We organize frozen pickup, customer updates, route planning, and front-door handoff.
Farm gate to freezer
Every launch partner will be reviewed before listing. Product details, pricing method, processing requirements, package labels, and delivery windows are communicated before money changes hands.
See who raised the animal, where the farm is located, and the practices the farmer chooses to document.
Orders move through facilities operating under the inspection and labeling rules required for the sale and delivery.
Packages stay frozen through pickup, routing, and documented doorstep handoff within the active service area.
Before you reserve
Buying a share is different from grabbing steaks at the grocery store. We make the differences easy to understand.
Each listing will separate the farm price, estimated processing cost, and delivery fee. Beef is often priced from hanging weight while your freezer receives a lower packaged weight. You will see the pricing method and a realistic total estimate before placing a deposit.
Half and whole beef buyers usually receive the most control. Quarter shares may use a balanced standard cut list so every customer receives a fair mix. Available choices will be shown before processing.
Animals and processor dates follow a schedule, so this is a reservation—not instant shipping. Each farm listing will show an estimated processing and delivery window, with updates if that timing changes.
Farm Buy Direct will only coordinate retail delivery through processing arrangements that meet the applicable inspection, packaging, and labeling rules. Exact requirements depend on the product and service area.
